Guy Deacon is undertaking a number of speaking engagements around the country to promote the book “Running on Empty” and the Channel 4 documentary of the same name. Most events are open to the public although space will be limited.  Tickets are required for all events although prices vary.  Where there is a charge, it is to cover costs and to generate a small donation to the three primary charities that he is supporting.  If you would like to attend one of the talks listed you should make contact via the links listed where you will be able to register your wish and be issued tickets.

The events will fall in to one of three formats:

The first type are ‘open events’ being held in attractive venues and may include a reception before or after the talk, and will have stocks of the book available for purchase.

The second type are ‘festival’ events, more specifically book events and literary festivals where Guy will be one of a number of speakers.  Tickets can be obtained via the event organisers at the link given.

And finally bespoke talks delivered on request (and not shown in the table below).  These can include local Parkinson’s groups, village communities, dining societies, schools etc. and will be tailored to suit the audience. The fee will be agreed but will need to cover expenses incurred by Guy, venue expenses and a modest contribution to charity.  Enquires should be made via the following link - https://www.guydeacon.co.uk/contact

Very sadly, Guy suffered a severe stroke at the end of July and we have had to cancel or postpone his diary of events. As soon as he is up and running again, we will post new dates and venues here.
